July 2014. A broken fridge in a Dubai apartment. Three companies called. The first never showed. The second arrived two days later, charged a call-out fee, found nothing. The third quoted AED 1,600 for a compressor replacement — on a fridge that had a blocked drain pipe. A drain pipe. Fixed in under an hour for a fraction of that price.
That experience is not unusual here. We hear almost the same story from customers at least four or five times a week. Why UAE fridges fail faster: Running a fridge in 45°C ambient heat means the compressor works roughly 60% harder than its design spec. That's physics, not a sales pitch. The motor's running, the light's on, but the food is going warm. Sounds like one problem — could actually be three different causes: a failed thermostat, blocked condenser coils, or a refrigerant issue. We confirm which one it is before quoting a single dirham. Most common call in UAE summer.

Clicking, rattling, low hum. Each noise means something specific. Clicking = start relay. Rattling = fan blade. We've heard all of them and know what they mean.
